Ravnica Allegiance official comes out today! The second block in our 3rd return to the Ravnica plane, and it doesn’t look to disappoint. In this set we catch up with other 5 guilds that were not in the Guilds of Ravnica set. Azorious, Rakdos, Gruul, Simic, and Orzov come to power in this new set, or more we get to see what they are doing at the same time as the other guilds from Guilds of Ravnica. Let’s take a close look at some of the awesome sealed products we have coming to you as the player in Ravnica Allegiance.
BOOSTER BOX (36 PACKS)
Here we have Dane and Joe cracking an entire box of Ravnica Allegiance! Check out the video for all the fun they had and to see all of the Uncommons, Rares, and Mythics they pulled. We also take a brief look at some of the other amazing products coming from Ravnica Allegiance.
If you just can’t wait here is a closer look at some of the Rares and Mythics we pulled out of the box. This Isn’t all of them though 😉 had to keep you guessing a little bit. We were able to pull two out of the three Planeswalkers, the better 2 out of the 3 in my opinion. Domri, Chaos Bringer is the Gruul leader and Planeswalker from Ravnica. We’ve seen Domri before and has always been a powerhouse when ever he comes onto the battlefield. Dovin, Grand Arbiter is a relatively new Planeswalker originally we met Dovin on Kaledesh as Dovin Bann. At the time Dovin Bann was a relatively underplayed walker who didn’t seem to hold much value. I guess Bolas had different plans for Dovin here on Ravnica. Dovin and Domri are already making waves in Standard as two epic playable cards that need to be dealt with the second they are dropped onto the battlefield. Dovin is even making some waves in Modern and attempting to make his way into Legacy.
With the return of Shock Lands in Guilds of Ravnica and now in Ravnica Allegiance I was excited to open this box in hopes to pull a few. My hopes came true as we pulled both a Stomping Grounds and a Blood Crypt, two of the Shock Lands I wanted most from this set. Not only are these amazing lands in Standard, but they are an absolute staple in Modern.
THEMED GUILD PACKS
Next up on our list of new products is the Themed Guild Packs. Wizards originally introduced us to these Themed Guild Packs in Guilds of Ravnica. These packs are seeded 35 cards from the guild of your choice and include a rare/mythic in each pack. We opened one of each of the guilds from Ravnica Allegiance, we pulled some pretty awesome rares too! Out of the Azorius themed pack we pulled Lavinia, Azorius Renegade . In the Simic themed pack we pulled Biomancer’s Familiar. Our of the Rakdos themed pack we pulled Bedevil. In the Orzov themed pack we pulled Teysa Karlov. Finally in the Gruul themed pack we pulled Gruul Spellbreaker. Each pack had a multicolored rare/mythic in it. I don’t this this is always th`e case but we got a good spread of what is to find in these packs along with the Commons and Uncommons we opened.
