What's New This Week is a weekly post brought to you by our ABU Warehouse staff. We showcase some of the new and restocked items we have available on our website. We show off everything from cool Magic the Gathering items all the way down to small board games. You never know what you will see on What's New This Week!
WARHAMMER 40k: KILL TEAM -
A fast paced tabletop miniatures game, Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team pits teams of elite specialists, ragtag zealots and hard-bitten veterans against each other in vicious skirmish battles to the bitter end. A single squad of well-trained and well-equipped warriors can tip the balance of a wider conflict – with Kill Team, you’ll play through countless stories of your own devising that could alter the fate of the galaxy itself.
Games of Kill Team are based around small but powerful squads of warriors rather than huge armies. Every single model commanded is vitally important to your strategy, and will develop its own personality, history and abilities with each game you play. In this box set, you’ll find everything you need to play games of Kill Team – from the comprehensive rulebook that covers Open, Narrative and Matched play games (and campaigns!), 2 complete 10-man plastic Kill Teams from the Adeptus Mechanicus and Genestealer Cults factions, a huge set of Imperial Ruins scenery and a gameboard to play on.
MAGIC THE GATHERING:
COMMANDER 2011 SEALED DECKS -
This week was all about our Ebay store. We made some huge changes and moved a lot of products around. These awesome Commander 2011 decks were in the mix of things that were moved back over to our website inventory. These decks are beautiful, in pristine condition, and fetch a pretty penny mint in box like these ones are. Some of these decks such as Heavenly Inferno, and Devour for Power were featured in the Commander Anthology, and Commander Anthology 2 box sets, but nothing really compares to the real thing. For many players this was their first introduction into EDH/Commander. With the recent release of Commander 2018 these seem to be on of Wizards of the Coast's favorite Magic the Gathering product to print each year. I know I get excited every year around this time for the new cards to come out in the yearly set.
WARHAMMER AGE OF SIGMAR:
NIGHTHAUNT BOX SETS -
Every unit and warscroll battalion in Warhammer Age of Sigmar owes allegiance to one of the four Grand Alliances – Order, Chaos, Death and Destruction – with many having other, more specific Allegiances that can be chosen instead, allowing the use of powerful battle traits, command traits and magical items.
With the updated rules for Matched Play in the General’s Handbook 2017, you can now take up to 400 points of allies without changing your army’s Allegiance, meaning flexibility – create more themed armies using diverse units from your collection. That’s where these boxes come in.
MAGIC THE GATHERING:
BEATDOWN BOX SET -
The name was derived from a slang word that was used at the time for aggro decks. Player's often said the were "applying a beatdown", when creatures were attacking and dealing lots of damage to an opponent. A "Beatdown deck" is essentially a “weenie” deck full of creatures that cost between one and four mana.
Includes two 61-card prebuilt decks (each with five rare cards each and a new-art premium creature card), two special-edition life counters, a two-sided poster, and a full-color booklet with play tips and creature histories.
